Conference Terms and Conditions


PAYMENT

You can pay by credit card or bank transfer.

  • Bank transfer payments must be received within 14 days of the invoice date.
  • If booking within 14 days of the conference, payment must be received at least 1 working day before the event.
  • If payment is not received by these deadlines, your registration will either be cancelled or reissued at the applicable conference rate current at the time of payment (Early Bird or Standard).

Please note that discounted registrations (Super Early Bird and Early Bird) must be paid in full by the cut-off dates below. If payment is not received by these dates, the registration fee will be adjusted to the next pricing tier.

  • Super Early Bird ends Sunday 30 November 2025
  • Early Bird ends Tuesday 31 March 2026

 

CANCELLATION
To cancel your registration, email us at conference@iod.org.nz.

The following cancellation conditions apply:

  • Up to 30 days before the conference: refund less a 25% administration fee.
  • Less than 30 days before the conference: no refund.

Accommodation is booked directly with the hotels and are subject to the hotel's T&C's.

 

TRANSFER OF REGISTRATION
You may transfer your paid registration to another person to another person not already registered.

Transfer requests must be emailed to conference@iod.org.nz.

 

GROUP REGISTRATION

Group registration rates of $1460 per person are available to organisations registering four (4) or more attendees to attend the conference. All attendees must be from the same organisation or board and registered under a single group invoice.

  • Additional delegates may be added to an existing group registration at the applicable group registration rate, provided the minimum group requirement of four (4) delegates continues to be met. Requests to add delegates must be submitted in writing to conference@iod.org.nz
  • Substitutions: Where a registered delegate is unable to attend, the registration may be transferred to another individual within the same organisation at no additional cost. All substitution requests must be advised in writing at least two weeks prior to the week starting.
  • Cancellations: Where a registration within the group registration is cancelled and not replaced, the cancellation will be subject to the standard cancellation policy outlined above.
  • Minimum Numbers and Pricing Adjustments: Group registration rates apply only while a minimum of four (4) attendees from the same organisation or board remain registered. If, at any time, the number of registered delegates falls below this minimum, all remaining registrations will be reclassified at the standard individual registration rate of $1,880. The organiser reserves the right to issue an amended invoice to reflect the revised pricing should the minimum number of registrations not be met.

 

YOUR IMAGE
A photographer/videographer will be onsite. Images and recordings may be used in our promotional materials, social media, and website in line with our Privacy Policy.
